Examination
An eye examination, in the office, includes a visual analysis to reveal how well your eyes work together as a team. Your ability to focus, endurance, depth perception, eye movement skills, color vision, and field of vision are among the many tests we conduct. An eye examination, will determine if vision correction is needed or should be changed. Can determine the prescription necessary to achieve clear vision for you. They the health of your eyes, inside and out, carefully screening for dangers such as cataracts, glaucoma, circulatory problems, hypertension, diabetes, etc. They provide eye health emergency care for problems such as foreign bodies in the eye, eye infections, glaucoma and cataract care, as well as minor in office surgical procedures. Their doctors provide pre and post op lasik and cataract care. They can readily determine whether you are a good candidate for such procedures.
Eye disease and injuries
In our rural community, many people injure their eyes while working outdoors. Removing an embedded piece of metal or other substance is a daily occurrence. Treating infections, allergies, inflamed, chemically and thermally burned eyes also occurs daily. Dr. Leach also treats and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and Dry Eye.
